West High Cascade Deer Hunt 119A?

Any thoughts about this very large under subscribed unit? I expect a lot of rough contry and a back pack type hunt; are there enough animals to make a reasonable go of being successful. Not expecting a trophy hunt.

Not a lot of deer but there are some really nice bucks that are bench legs. Pretty much a good time to camp with friends.

This is what I suspected. I have spent some some in the southern portion of this unit. Being along the spine of the Cascades, it is a lot of LP pine. I have no idea what the rest of the unit is like. Do have a couple of PPts that we might use in an eastern unit we have hunted before.

I was wondering if someone was going to even respond since I seldom post on this site; I lurk here a lot though.
