Western Wyo Gen Bulls

The wife and I took a weekend snowshoeing trip in early March and spotted a few bulls napping.

They finally woke up and gave us a better look.

Saw 4 bulls last night that already have growth past their brows. Hard to snap a pic at 55 mph.

LAST EDITED ON Apr-19-13 AT 12:55PM (MST)[p]Isn't it amazing how fast they start growing a new rack after they drop and how fast they grow! The first big bull I ever saw was in 1994 on a guided deer hunt and he was laying all the way over on his side such that only the right side of his rack was sticking up in the air. We thought he was dead, but after a few minutes he woke up and raised his head. The guide said he had never seen one that relaxed.
