wet weather tricks

im about to hunt in idahos unit 33 ml hunt. is there any tricks to keeping my percussion cap dry? i am going to electrical tape the muzzle , but do i need to do anything to the percussion cap?i was thinking about some primer sealant, like for shotguns. or maybe wax around the cap. how about the cover they sell at midway this one

or would this make it a non exposed cap acording to idf&g
or should i even worry about it. im planning on hunting in rain /snow.

Hello mdbrown...not sure what to use on the percussion cap, but for the muzzle I use a black balloon to keep the elements out..

I hunt this hunt every year for elk, this year i have elk and deer tags.I never do enything and only had one problem, cap went off and gun didt go off second cap did the trick.Im aiways hunting this hunt in the snow and bad weather and that was my only problem.
