What am I missing? New string.......

So I just put a new bow string on.

Tell me what is the correct order.

1) shoot some shots to get it in sync
2) check cam timing
3) paper tune
4) re-sight in
5) maybe adjust peep


Just want to get it right, do I have the right order?

I would ad ,check axle to axle and brace height measurements along with cam timing on step 2.

In addition to the above, I'd also check max poundage. Even if you don't intend to shoot at max, reaching max poundage or a pound or two over, is an indication of proper string and cable length.

Swap #4 with #5. I agree you should re-check all your measurements and poundage to verify everything is stretched and at the right length.
