Tell me if this bird and bunny stuff wears thin on this forum. The photo forum doesn't seem to get too many hits currently.

These are some winter range flowers starting to show through the dead grass. Can anybody ID them? I don't know what they are but would like to know.

First photo - ARROW-LEAVED BALSAMROOT

Seond photo - yellow flower -> YELLOWBELLS
blue flowers -> MOUNTAIN BLUEBELLS

Pretty common plants ... even up here in British Columbia
 
Or if you're a scinece nerd like me...

1.Balsamorhiza sagitata

2. yellow one: Fritillaria pudica

blue one: Mertensia, not sure on the species though

if you're a shed hunter like me, you have a severe dislike for arrowleaf...once it leafs out, i give up looking for sheds cuz i'd have to trip on them to find them!
 
I think you should cut and press some of those flowers. You can give them to huntsumoreyarn on the next gift exchange.....
