Title says it all. For me it was for Desert Bighorn & a preference point for antelope. Good Luck to all. Bob
Drives me nuts... the amount of people who have a sob story about the website crashing at the last minute is unreal to me. And they're all convinced that the website is the problem the best way I have found to respond is simply "that's weird... the website was working just fine 3 weeks ago"I'm not gonna say until I know damn well the CPW isn't going to reopen the draw for the folks that tried to put in at 7:59 last night. I'm fairly confident that cost me a tag in '21 and I'm still bitter about it.
Boss at work showed me his list of tags to put in for Yesterday… fast forward to 11pm, we are on a call and he is mother F’in himself since he tried to put in a 10pm & they close at 8…. Poor fella I told him to apply about 8 times the last 3 weeksI'm not gonna say until I know damn well the CPW isn't going to reopen the draw for the folks that tried to put in at 7:59 last night. I'm fairly confident that cost me a tag in '21 and I'm still bitter about it.
When they start point sharing grab a buddy and go hunt together. Me. I will be your buddy.Deer points again...I feel stupid for having so many points. 16 now
I hadn't seen where they've said that. Is there a link I can catch up on it?They already said they won't do point sharing. Point banking is only the option they are still considering.
Haha...I'm literally kicking myself for waiting so long. How's the winter wearing on you? You moved to Wyoming if I remember? When they start point sharing grab a buddy and go hunt together. Me. I will be your buddy.
Bought myself and 12 year old boy deer points.
You throw in the towel on mooses?Title says it all. For me it was for Desert Bighorn & a preference point for antelope. Good Luck to all. Bob
Yes I moved here 4 years ago. 3 now in Casper. Obviously everyone knows we are getting hammered the last few days. It might be the end of May before we can bait bears!Haha...I'm literally kicking myself for waiting so long. How's the winter wearing on you? You moved to Wyoming if I remember?
I think they only emailed a select group to discuss point sharing with CPW. Here's where it's discussed on this forum:I hadn't seen where they've said that. Is there a link I can catch up on it?
What a brutal winter indeed! I imagine the bears will have plenty of carcasses to feed on.Yes I moved here 4 years ago. 3 now in Casper. Obviously everyone knows we are getting hammered the last few days. It might be the end of May before we can bait bears!
When I draw my sheep tag your welcome to come along hahaMy daughter should draw a 61 bull tag. Looking forward to getting back down there this year. Also fingers crossed that friends or family draws a sheep or moose tag.
I’m just a phone call away. Good luck in the draws. When I draw my sheep tag your welcome to come along haha
I know it! Thank you and to you as well. Get that stone booked and finish off that slam already ! HahaI’m just a phone call away. Good luck in the draws.
Will you all hunt consecutively? That will be a fun way to do itPut myself and 3 brothers in for sheep?and deer, we are guaranteed tags for 2nd,3rd and a 4th season in the same unit, and of course I will have the 4th season tag? we have taken some good muleys but we are just gonna have some fun!

Yes, my older brother will draw 2nd season for deer, and one of my younger brothers will draw 3rd season and I should draw 4th all consecutive in the same unit. Should be a blast...Will you all hunt consecutively? That will be a fun way to do it
If it keeps creeping like it has you won't have a guarantee with 9.Deer unit 79 3rd rifle with 9 NR points for better or worse.
If I was a high point holder I would have still held the coarse as you can always turn your tag back in later this summer and after a few scouting trips.Put in for my usual third season deer unit. For elk took a flyer on a High Point unit hoping a few of the people with mega points don’t put in because of the winter kill.
That could very well be the case we will see.If I was a high point holder I would have still held the coarse as you can always turn your tag back in later this summer and after a few scouting trips.
Leftover list should be ripe this year once winter kill news reaches the oblivious hunters. If I was a high point holder I would have still held the coarse as you can always turn your tag back in later this summer and after a few scouting trips.
I would guess you are going elk hunting!40 muzzy elk with 25 NR points.
Also in for moose & sheep and just points for deer and antelope…
Good luck everyone!

Working on it! Making the hard to do (physically and financially) bucket list hunts at the top with the others waiting tell I get older. Went after my dall last year, I’m so glad I did, now on to the next one!Desert sheep- got a better chance of being struck by lightning than drawing .
Moose- 23 points, 1 % draw odds again better odds of being struck by lightning.
Already drew and harvested Rocky Bighorn, and a Mountain Goat, can’t complain Colorado’s been good to me. But in todays age of drawing tags I do feel bad for max point holders who may never draw the tag of their dreams. Im thinking about booking a Ol Mexico Desert sheep hunt for 2024, had knee replacement in late November and am thinking I still have one more sheep hunt left in my 68 year old body. Already hitting gym daily and walking treadmill. Dall sheep has been on my bucket list but I waited prob 8 years to long, you younger hunters better fill those dreams befor your knees go.
