When do you receive bonus point, before or after draw?

Let's say you have 0 points and are a first time applicant. You get one chance to draw. If unsuccessful, they award you a bonus point for next year.

So next year, you have 1 bonus point and your chance for that year = 2 chances to draw

And so on.

You get a point for every correct application for which you are unsuccessful.
Bottom line: after the drawing. Never before.

After the draw JT31. This is often referred to as the "backdoor" to knowing whether or not you drew a tag. It used to be that you could check your "eligible points" and if they were gone, you knew you had drawn your tag, before your card was hit, and before you received notification from the DWR. It didn't help if you didn't get a tag so much.

I think these days, the CC hits show up before your BPs are removed... I don't know for sure because I've never drawn an LE tag yet... LOL

I checked my points this morning and it was not updated but I looked at my hunters trailhead profile and I had gained a point on big horn so if any of you have an account see if yours have updated
