which arrow

Hello All,
I shoot Carbon Express arrows and my draw length and bow poundage makes me fall right on the line for arrow choice from the manufacturers charts. I have been hunting with the heavier arrows quite successfully for the last five years but am wondering if you fall right on the line, do you go heavier or lighter? I am interested in knowledge and not opinion here. No offense...

3-D go lighter, Hunting a few grains more wouldnt hurt.

I always wanted to shoot the lightest arrow as I wanted the most speed out of my setup. Well after getting serious and wieghing ever arrow and logging them , I realized I was shooting heavy. Well I've had two pass throughs on elk with this heavier arrow and am still getting pretty nice speed. I shoot a BOWTECH Liberty VFT and it's not the fastest bow but it sure is smooth and that works . I also like to shoot as similar an arrow on the 3-d range as my hunting set up minus the broadhead....Everybody is a little different , but this is what I'm pretty comfortable with ....

When in doubt, err on the side of being a bit heavy and a bit stiffer spined.
