Which gun???

I'm buying a new gun. This is my first year in AZ. I got drawn for Elk and Coues. I would like to get a gun I could use for both (a pretty much all around type rifle). From what I've seen a .300 or 7mm WSM would do the job fine. Which would you all recommend?

I would love to get an auto, but I've only seen that Browning makes them (I've only researched them on the web so far). Anyone have an auto-loader (or know of another manufacture who makes them)? Which one do you prefer (auto or bolt)? I like Browning, but not much of a selection and a lot more $ it seems for the auto compared to the bolt.

So, right now I'm leaning toward a .300 Bolt.

Can't go wrong with a .300 mag - can go heavy or light...

If I were buying a new gun, I'd definitely get a bolt action instead of an autoloader. That's just my opinion. Also, I would choose a 260. Remington or a 270. Winchester.
