Whitetail funnels?

I was wondering how you find good whitetail funnels? I am going to illinois the first week of december, and from what I hear your best bet is to hunt funnels. If anyone could help I would appreciate it.

Get an aireal map and topos of the property and look for places that cover and/or terrain narrow down. Also, find out what the prevailing winds are for the area so that you can plan your stands correctly. Good luck.

Arial photos for starters, then spend some time on the ground checking for trails. Funnels can be created in many diffrent ways: fence lines, hedge rows, creek bottoms, hills, fields, etc, really hard to nail anything down until you see it in person.
