Am I reading the regs correctly? Many of the whitetail hunts no end Nov 3? Like 8,8A etc?

Yes some of the whitetail hunts end on Nov 3. No you are not reading the regs right.

If you have a "Regular Deer" tag then the season for which you can kill a whitetail in units 8 and 8A ends on Nov 3. If you purchase a "Whitetail Deer" tag the season ends on Dec 1.
