Whitetail???

I saw two herds of whitetail this week that were not coues They were between cloudcroft and Sacramento. I didn't know nm had them.

Lots of white tail in unit 34. Not Coues. They tend to stay on private.

Maybe they will be the only deer left when all the mule deer get killed off.

Always see a lot driving from Cloudcroft to Mayhill....but like said, they are usually always on private land!!

i've got a friend who said he seen one on the pecos river at he's dairy here in roswell.

I saw a whitetail doe dead on the side of the road passing through Santa Rosa earlier this year... Only a matter of time till more come around and up north east especially some good bucks!

Has there been anymore discussion about transplanting coues deer into more southern mountain ranges? They seem to thrive in the boot heal. I'm thinking they would do well in other areas in southern NM?
