I heard somewhere and can't remember that you could refill your bottle with corn starch or baking powder or something like that cause it doesn't have any scent or very little.

Any help on that?

A downy feather tied to a piece of thread works great and doesn't weigh much either. Of course, these only tell you which direction the wind is headed, not where it's going.
