Winter wolf access

Hello I'm a predator hunter/trapper from Tennessee, I'd like to get out to Idaho and try to kill some coyotes and maybe get a chance at a wolf, due to college I'd only be able to go in mid December Or early January. I'm mainly wandering how many roads I can expect to be accessible that time of year. I'm looking around the nez pierce area thank you.

Your best bet would be to call IDFG.

You will probably need a snow machine. Snow on north facing slopes is already fairly deep in the back country of unit 28. I have used my side by side with all four tires chained and still got stuck. Good luck.
