Wolf spotted sisQ

LAST EDITED ON Aug-04-15 AT 09:50PM (MST)[p]So, if a wolf goes to Farmer Johns ranch and kills a half dozen sheep, the rancher gets compensated for his loss. Who exactly pays this compensation of loss and where did that money come from?

If here, wouldn't Calif's Dept of Wildlife be responsible? We who have little against but don't necessarily want wolves living, multiplying, and running our backyards in packs, would strange enough, be forced to support them because we who do not want them, are the major funding source of Fish & Wildlife Dept.

What happens when a hungry Wolf or Mt Lion grabs a young toddler from his crib in the back yard, wherever, and runs off with it to enjoy their meal. If it hasn't happened yet, it will, mark my words! How much do we then have to pay, compensate the Family of the lost child? We tell the Parents that wolves are needed here, people want them, for what? How much is just one child worth to it's Family and who will be responsible for compensation because it sure as $hit ought not to be, "we who do not want them"?

It is kind of difficult to see, but that mutt looks mangy. Notice the thin tail. Not at all normal for a wolf.
