My inlaws saw 7 wolves in the interior of B.C. last week but these were the only two they got on film.

Thats about as freaking cool as it gets! Closeups of wild wolves!!! Thanks for posting that picture!

That's a cool picture. Can't say I've ever had them stand still long enough to get a picture when I've had a camera. I did get one on video once while I was scouting the highcountry. But it is too far away to really tell its a wolf. You only see a white object moving. LOL! I had a young gray pup last summer stand and look at me for quite some time on my way to work. I really kicked myself for not having a camera with me.

Yea they are pretty hard to get on film. I have seen lots but by the time you get a camera out they are usually gone. I seen one chasing an elk in the middle of the night by Jasper once on the highway, I actually stopped the truck and the wolf was no more than 30 feet away looking at me, and of course i had no camera, always seems to happen that way.
