My dad fell and broke his hip shortly after the new year. He has been in assisted living after getting a replacement to get rehab.
Last night he took a turn for the worse and. Now I find myself in the terrible position of watching him slowly slip away in the ICU.
My dad is 74 which is pretty young in my opinion. This dreadful situation has come exactly ten months to the day of losing my little sister.
The point of my post is not for others to feel sorry for me. But to remind all those who read here to never take a moment in life for granted. Life is short. I am blessed to know through my Savior Jesus Christ our families will be together again, but it is such great sorrow to see others leave us as they continue their eternal progression.
