Yeah, old religious gun toting bible packing rednecks have destroyed the once Grand Old Party. It is too bad that the people who love to pack the bible around as a badge of honor don't open it more often and read what is actually written in it. If they did there would be much less strife and hatred in this country and more acting like we are all Americans who could work together. If those packing those bible acted like they were saved by the word, sanctified by his grace and purchased with his blood, they would not worry so much about who is president of the country because in the Bible it states clearly that whoever sits in the oval office, even Obama, was put there by God. So if you got that much trouble with who the President is, then you are not up on your bible reading and are just packing that bible around for show not for redemption.

Can you see why bible packing people are held in disdain at times? They pretend to hold up the bible as their guide and then don't follow it. That is the reason for the disdain. So is the text of the Bible wrong? Can you find a Hitler loop hole in the Romans 13 verse? If it is up to humans to decide when gods word is gospel and when it is not and humans are flawed how can it be the infallible word of god?

I don't proclaim to be born again like you do. You sure miss some major parts of the essence of what being a Christian means. Imagine if you read and believed whole the book and not just the parts that make you a tiny little man wrapped up in hate for your fellow humans.
