Took a beautiful Fannin ram in the Yukon in 2006 with plans to go back for a Dall in 2009 or 2010. But looks like my plans may have to change. The same hunt I took went from $14000 in 2006 to $21000 in 2009(and add-on trophy fee for moose increased from $2500 to $5000).

I assume increased demand, weak U.S. dollar, and increased fuel costs are the culprits.

Looks like I need to hope against hope to draw a Desert or Rocky tag someday......

Anybody got a good value on a Dall hunt?? I don't need a book sheep but would like a chance at a good mature ram. Thanks!!

Most of the Dall hunts in Alaska are currently running between 10K and 12K. I am booked for 2009 for 10,500 in the Brooks Range. Any Dall hunts in the Yukon are around 15K to 21K based on my research before booking.

I went about 5 years ago, for $7500.00.
Hunted the Chugash with Lonesome Dove outfitters, out of Valdez.
Don't know what they go for now.
Some nice rams in that range.
