This is the first time that I have posted a photo of one of my animals, but it was pretty exciting and I ended up getting a good bull. He got into a fight with the bull that I had been trying to get on for about two hours. I could hear this bull just over the hill from me, but couldn't see him. when the fight broke out I broke from cover beside the other bulls harem, ran about 200 yds. to get within bow range of the bulls, saw the tops of this bull and hoped the bottoms would match (which they didn't) and took the shot. I hit him a little back, but still caught some lung. He just let out a grunt and kept fighting, so when they spun around I figured I might as well put another one in him. That one quartered into the heart and finished the job that I should have done in the first place. I guess I was just amped up by being that close to such an awesome fight between two large bulls. I think the bull that I was on to begin with would out score this bull, but seeing the top end of this bull I thought he might be a "Booner". Like they say, " once you release the arrow or pull the trigger you own it!". No disappointment here! Both bulls were great, and the experience will last forever.
