We took 4 points and the special tag to draw this unit. We opted to skip the opener and started our hunt on the 20th.

We passed on some the first day, wanting to cover the unit and see if we could turn up a book head. Didn't see anything I could put higher than high 70's and after looking over 100 heads we were ready to get the guns out. My partner elected to go first on a decent looking goat we caught in a great spot for a stalk.

At one point during the day a herd of wild horses closed in on us at high speed while getting a gate. We got some great photos of a high desert stampede.

The next day I was able to put a stalk on a smaller buck with a double prong.

Didn't really need the pack frames, but you buy all these toys, you might as well use them, right?

Enjoyed the pics- we were out hunting 92 same weekend and my son took a 78 incher. Was the biggest goat we scouted and saw. Was fun hunt and best part he had to work to get his goat with a 1 1/4 miles stalk and then 45 min wait before he had a long shot that he made perfectly. Will post a pic when I am on at home sometime.

This guy custom makes them on ebay. They are the most comfortable frames to use for packing meat I've seen. I train all year w/ 50 lbs of sand in the back and climb stairs at the hospital parking garage.

Every guide that has put one on has bought some that season, they are that awesome.

Highly recommend!
