I went out and checked my blind two nights ago. The area is real dry (which is great). Earlier this summer there was water everywhere, in the roads etc. There were trails that were turned to powder with goat tracks heading to the available water. We saw a lot of what we call "cookie cutter" bucks. You know the ones I'm talking about... 12-13" high average bucks (my area is full of them). Didn't see anything to get excited about, but man was it a beautiful evening out on the desert. Good luck to everyone come Monday. Let's see some pictures of those who are successful.
