Hunted 119, 4 years ago as a non resident, had a blast there are lots of deer to sort through. Private land can be a problem but if you are good with a map it can work to your advantage. After a lot of home work and meeting with a few guys that have had the tag before everyone there thoughts were to not hold out for anything bigger than 165" buck. It is just like any other hunt if you work hard and glass a ton you can turn up bucks. After all said and done I can't remember the total # of bucks we saw in the 5 days, but I passed up 2 bucks that would of went mid 160s one that would go a bit better and lots of small three ad four points. The best buck I passed up was on the first night after driving 16 hours and setting up camp who wants to kill the first good buck you see (not me) was tough not to looking through the scope at a typical 4 point with eye guards that would score 180. I kicked my self for the next 4 days as I was looking a lesser bucks. On day 5 he wasn't so lucky I found him over 5 miles from where I passed him up after getting a tape on him my hunting partner wanted to smack me he was 182 and some change. We talked to 5 or 6 other guy that were not seeing much for game at all and most of them ate there tag. Moral of the story is just out work everyone else and your chances of turning up a good one increases. I would rather be lucky than good so don't pass up a 180 buck if you have the chance with a 119 tag in your hand. I probably still have a few X's on some maps if anyone gets a tag!!
