Wyoming or South Dakota ?

I'm looking for an over the counter rifle tag to hunt Whitetails. I'm not looking for a huge buck - 6 to 8 point would be awesome.
Which state would give me a decent chance to make this happen ?
I'm in good shape for 56 years old and am willing to hike a lot if needed.

Try Wisconsin. Lots of public land with plenty of 2 1/2 year old bucks and tags are otc. Easy terrain too.
