Wyoming Range Deer Herd public meetings

I attending an informational meeting regarding the Wyoming Range herd and the Pinedale herd up in Pinedale last night. They cover the current population counts, trends and habitat management plans for both of these herds. They also had a presentation from a Research Scientist from the Haub School regarding her work on the Wyoming Range deer herd and energy development on the winter range as well as the effects of the severe winter last year on the herd. It was very good stuff. I would recommend attending one of the meetings if you can. Meeting locations and times are in the link below

They are just finishing up the Mule Deer presentation at the Commission meeting. The video should be up tomorrow. Good info
