Well,everyone was pretty much correct,it's a tough unit and the weather did not help.Saw some Bighorn sheep, but very very few deer to say the least,I would probably shy away from this one if you were thinking about it,there are better D zones for sure.
 
How many years did it take to draw it? I've seen some big bucks taken out of x9c in past years posted on the internet. From google earth it looks like it would be a cool zone to hunt. It would be cool to backpack in from the nevada side.
 
It only takes a couple points to draw,but you would be better off in x9b if you only have a few points. x9c is cool country just deer are few and I mean very few and far between.The best bet is save your points and hunt x9a there are some great deer in there and there are plenty of them pretty much unit wide,easy to find bucks in x9a
