[Paradox]

My niece drew this tag and I am beginning to dig in.
Can you guys give me a "good bet" area to really investigate?
I am in New York so my scouting will be long distance and I need to narrow down the state into a few units. Of course honey holes would be appreciated also

While the proclomation makes it look like you have a bunch of units to hunt, the reality is you really don't have a whole lot of options when it comes to public land. You get a little on Monte Cristo above Ogden Valley and you get the Uintas, that's about it.

I would look at the South Slope of the Uintas. More public land and a bigger herd than the North Slope. I don't think one area is any better than another. Like you can imagine on a public land hunt, you get away from the roads and people your odds go up.

I realized the public land is not as generous as the description indicates after I started to look further. But that narrows down the search considerably!
