Youth hunt?

I am trying to find a good state to take my 9 year old boy to hunt turkeys. He was so excited to pass his hunter saftey and hunt this spring. But we did not draw our Utah early tags. I will probly take him on the later hunt anyways. Where can I take him to hunt early around UT? Any advice would be good. Thanks.

Some times the late hunts are great. It just depends on the spring. One year i had the early hunt it snow the first weekend and the second weekend of the hunt was windy. The birds never got going. Another year on the late hunt the hens had chicks and where off the nest. Not to good for calling a turkey in.
So just wait and see what the weather will do,we may have a good late season this year.
