Would love any input you guys might have on these two scope options for a .270 wby. Has anyone used the rapid-z on a 270? How about the Leupold? thanks!

I put the rapid-z on my wifes .270 win. It is the 600 and it works great. The crosshairs are accurate out to the designated ranges. She has used them to holdover on animals a few times and has had no problems in doing so.

Go to the Zeiss website and use their calculator with your load data to see how well the reticle fits. Not sure about how fast the 270 WBY is, but the rapid z 800 might work better. Its harder to test the B&C, but leupold does provide the numbers for the spacing of its marks so you can run some ballistics programs and compare it too.

yup. you can also call the Leupold custom shot and they will run your numbers for you to see how well they match up with the BC reticle. Custom reticles aren't too expensive either. Great customer service.
