Zeiss warranty question

Wondering if anyone out there had ever dealt with a Zeiss warranty issue. I love my 65T FL, but the lens behind the objective came loose during a recent hunting trip. I did not drop it or anything, it road in my pack to and from my hunt. Anyway, I am asking because when I scratched the objective on my leopuld scope a few years back while packing a deer out they charged me $65 dollars for a new lens. I wonder if Zeiss will charge a few hundred for a new lens.

The best thing to do is to call Zeiss customer service, 1-800-441-3005, and explain to them that you purchased this scope new from an authorized Zeiss dealer and that you have the original receipt, you were just out packing and an inner lens element has become loose. You would like the correct address to send it for a warranty repair. It should be this simple.
