I drew a desert big horn sheep tag for the late hunt. Anyone hunt this unit in the last 5 years or know anyone who has? I would love any help i can get.

I know more than a couple guys who hunted the unit but I'll let them step from the shadows if they want to throw this guy a bone.

I did hunt the unit 2 years ago, but you are coming late to the party, my friend. By now in my hunt, my son and I had spent 18 days in the unit, so if you are just now reaching out, you are in the rear.

One reason Utah should hold the draw earlier; by the time we have the draw its too dam hot to do much scouting for desert sheep. Especially in backpack units like Escalante. It would make all the difference to have the draw in April.
