LAST EDITED ON Oct-29-02 AT 04:15PM (MST)[p]I went down to Tucson on Thursday to help my buddy on his Coues hunt. I brought my rifle a long on the chance that I might see a lion. The first thing we found was a lion. After two bad shots I finally calmed down and shot the lion. The next day we went back and my buddy shot a lion. That afternoon I found another lion with two half grown kittens. We watched them for over an hour from about 170 yards. We then went around the hill aways and found a Coues buck. My buddy put him down with one shot. The buck had 14 points on one side and 7 on the other. He has 110" of horn. His rack is so messed up that their is no way to really score him. That is two nontypicals in a row for my buddy. Last year he shot a 118" nontypical and I shot a 112" Typical. This past weekend was awesome. Good luck to everyone.

I will try to post photos. My scanner is not working. Piece of crap anyways.

Jeremy: I have to be honest and say I am truly Jealous. I hope my hunt is somewhere close to how successfull your hunt went. I cant believe how many lions you guys saw. What unit???? I hope my buck (if I am fortunate enough to get one) is close to what your buddy shot. Congratulations....... Allen......
