Idaho Unit 39 Archery

Anyone been on the late season Unit 39 Archery hunt. A buddy and I are headed down from Coeur d'Alene last week of the season and would appreciate any info. Thanks Fella's!

I talk to a guy that hunted off blacks creek rd last weekend. They did not see a lot of deer but did see one decent 3x3. They hunt this area a lot and they think that the deer are just starting to migrate down. I am going this weekend also. This is my first time going in late season so I can not give you any more advice. But I did hunt in there a couple of times during rifle and saw lots of does and a couple of small bucks. Let me know what area you might be hunting in and I will see what I can find out.

Snow, pray for snow! You should see a lot of game if you put forth the effort. I hunt blackscreek as well and shot some huns out there on Monday. Havent seen much but a lot of deer do winter around there. Let me know where you think you are headed and id be happy to share.

ToughCountry I hunt on the east side of Blacks creek rd by bender creek Trail head. I had to walk in to the second ridge top during rifle season to see any deer. I am hoping that I don't have to walk that far this weekend. I now see the need for a 4 wheeler. The weather focast is for up to 12 inches of snow tonight and tomarrow above 6000 ft. Is that enough to move the deer down into my area or should I try a different spot? Also were did you get those huns at. I just moved here last year and I have yet to see one. I have a german short hair and would love to hunt them after bow season.
