Southern AZ huge buck

Had this emailed to me. Anyone have any info on this buck. Was told its a southern AZ buck, but dont know for sure. It has an AZ tag on it.

Wow, what a hog..i cant say anything..i did that once and gosh was my dad mad at me.. You would think the first thing he would say was nice buck but nooo he freaked out about the cape..haha congrats to the hunter...Justin

I know it's hard to fathom but it is possible that the cape was pretty thin. I have taken a few deer in southern az in august with a bow and I had to buy a cape every time. It's so hot that time of year down here that the deer are literally bald. I don't know the story behind the buck but that's my .02 cents.

There are some slammers taken in S. AZ every year. Most are on the late archery hunt (Dec-Jan). Stud buck regardless..

It is a heavily hunted unit in SE AZ which has some rough country but still a few 200" deer come out of every year, usually rifle. I received the same picture on my phone a couple weeks ago. A friends wife has a rifle tag currently in the area now. We'll see how they do!
I hope to learn more about the deer and the story!
