and entered my info, and it came
up showing that I drew my tag and
that a habitat stamp postcard had
been sent, So it is official.

I did not start applying in CO until
4 years ago, we found a unit that
we can hunt about every other year in
November and we have been having a great
time, I know there are several better
units but we still have fun, and have
seen some real good bucks.

We have also started to make friends
with some landowners and are getting more
land to hunt.

Good luck in the future draws.

Anyone reading here know how many NR points it took to draw 21 third season? We have 13---actually I had 14 and my friend had 13 and we still didn't draw! Go figure. It ain't that great of a unit anyway, is it?

I drew my 4th choice! I thought second and third choices wouldnt be a problem drawing. At least I am hunting.

Littlebighorn if you had put in alone you would have got it with 14 pts. But Colorado goes with the lowest prefrence point total in the party (13). There were 10 non-res tags given out for 21, 5 went to applicants with 14 or more and 5 were randomly selected from a pool of 33 applicants with 13 pts. Your odds were about 15% to draw this year with your party application.

My son drew unit 22 3rd season as his 1st buck hunt. cant wait to take him. I got points 8-8 now

Nada, and I should have gotten a 3rd or 4th choice. Both of the ones I listed were 100% with lefotvers in 2007. Looks like the Gunnison die-off caused a shake up in odds on some of the other areas as well.

WELL! I drew, but the three other people I hunt with did not! I can't go by myself.....don't really want to. Guess I'll ask for the refund.

Oldmossback I will see you guys back there in November! My Dad, brother and I also drew 22 3rd. Should be a good time with the large reduction in the amount of hunters due to tag cuts.
