tremonton area

has anybody hunted the west hills cwmu whites valley cwmu near tremonton just wondering what the deer are like in this area having a tag on a cwmu and not being able to scout is unnerving to me scouting is half of the experience

willowy horned. seen some good one taken from there. I wish you the best. Havent seen much there for a couple years but you never know what kind of hunters are hunting it.

Whites Valley has had some nice deer in it in the past..I wouldnt expect a monster, but I have seen some nice deer in there.

What do you considered nice?
20" wide and 130 score or is nice 24" wide and 150 score

What are you saying is a nice deer?

To me a nice deer is 25-28" and 160 or better but hey I have only hunted public land

Archery is a year round commitment!!

I know a guy that guides up there and has scouted that ranch a few times this summer. I'll touch base with him here shortly and see if they seen anything good.

Ive been on westhills a couple of times the best buck I seen was a 22 4x4 but that was a 3 years ago. Ive also been on whites valley a few times and the best buck ive seen there was 25 3x4 . What dates are you hunting?

thanx for the replies. let me know what you find out 200itus that would be greatly appreciated.i have spotted 22" bucks from the north end of the west hills.the operater told me bucks last year were 22"-28" the 28" buck went to a guided client.i have the option of being the last hunter on the ranch in nov.is this a migration area?is nov too late?will the deer be too picked over when i get there'should i hunt earlier?i get 5 hunting days and no scouting.let me know what you guys think.
