Montana Region 7

Just looking into a fall of 2009 mule deer hunt. I was wondering if anyone had any comments about the area as to if it would be a decent place to hunt. I currently Antelope hunt this region but have never hunted muleys there. Any comments or help would be appreciated. Thanks guys

I hunt several different areas of Region 7 and there are some good bucks out there. You really need to do alot of homework on it though. One of my favorite spots that had some great looking bucks got over ran with hunters last year b/c the area most people hunted was burned out in the summer.

it's an awful big region and your question is very vague. yes, there are deer there on public land.

I have been talking to a few people out there. I will mainly be hunting between ekalaka and billings. Thanks for your help though
