I drew this tag yesterday and wondering if anyone could tell me what to expect. Deer numbers, class of deer and what the terrain is like. Thanks.

If you drew it yesterday that was in the Outfitter draw? Won't the outfitter have this information. I hunted in 231 for Elk. Some pretty rugged spots but not too bad. Lots of thick cover areas where I was at.

I would think that the guide you applied with should be able to give you all the info you are looking for. It was the guided draw was it not?

yes he did tell me about the unit, however it is always nice to here others experiences. I have alot of confidence in his abilities, it is just nice to hear other's views. Thanks again!

I hunted it last year on the late hunt, drew the same outfitter tag you have. Great looking country, very condusive to glassing and spot/stalk but the deer densities are very low. Add to that the fact that the deer are very nocturnal, and it made for a very interesting hunt. I saw 3 deer in 5 1/2 days but killed a nice buck. Drop me an e-mail if you want to talk more. TJ

Thanks for the reply. I am very interested in all you can tell me. I tried e-mail but just coudn't seem to get it to go. I will P.M. you.

My email is [email protected] A pic of my Nevada buck is posted under the thread "lets see your 20 buck" on this forum. I'll post a few pict tomorrow as well. Fire me an e-mail and I'll send you my contact info. Who is the outfitter? TJ

Jason killed a hog catus buck in there last year.

I removed them and sent you an email. Jason Carter emailed me and said your comments were outright lies. If you are telling the truth, then go ahead and post the comments along with your name and telephone number so Jason can call you rather than me having to get in the middle of what is, or is not, fact. OK?
