For all you mule deer fanatics on MM, here is one of the neatest bucks I have ever been associated with.
This bruiser was taken on the fifth day of 2010 hunt on the Arizona Strip by my hunter, Tony Keller of Kingman,Az.
I absolutely am enamored by what I call wildlife "Freaks & Geeks" and this buck we called, "Double Drop" is at the top of my list.
I have some photos and video of this buck and when I showed them to Tony and his son, Tony couldn't believe what he was seeing.
Some fast facts on the buck. He has an outside spread of an honest 34 inches, and has a gob of scoreable points on both sides. Yet we call him a 9 X 5 just to keep it simple.
Don't know what he scores and actually I don't care. Too me and Tony and to Jay Chan who was with Tony when he got it, it is indeed a buck of a lifetime and I'm proud to be a part of the hunt.
I know everyone doesn't like cactus bucks and I'm good with that.
Here he is..
