LAST EDITED ON Oct-31-13 AT 01:02PM (MST)[p]Figured Halloween was a good time to post this freak. This animal was killed in the 1930's near Kamas on the deer hunt. The hunter thought is was a deer/elk mix. It has a mule deer frame and the mass and brow tines of an elk. This picture is on my desk with a shed from a solid 150" mule deer in the background. I've never seen anything like it. the skull plate is cracked so it won't make the Mule Delk books. I don't even know how to score it.....
I can't let this go too long ........this is actually a barasingha rack from a Victorian English estate. I picked them up for our den....at my wife's request.
Happy Halloween........
