Congrats on the Bull. Looks like a few broken points on the rack, or at least on the left anyway. Still a fine Bull.

Congrats on a nice bull! Would you tell us the details about your choice in rifle and load, also what was the shot distance? Thanks.

dvdgeorge,
I remember talking back and forth on the muzzleloading page about sights. What did you finally go with?

I used a TC 50 cal Omega with 95 gr. ff 777 and a 405 gr. aerotip Pb.Sights where a williams peep and a front fiber optic factory sight. My 1st shot was about 75 yards, hit him a bit to far back.2nd shot was at 20 yards broadside through both lungs, bullet found lodged under skin on far side fully mushroomed with near full weight retention, and 3rd shot was through shoulder at 15 yards and penetrated into heart. My 1st shot was in a meadow just before dark after a cow call lured the bull out of timber, the 2nd and 3rd occurred the following AM after tracking the bull.
