sunridge for elk

i have access to sunridge but my question is is it any good? does anybody here hunt it and of so how is the hunting up there? dont want youre secret spot just some where to start if anybody knows the area! thanks for any replys...

A friend of a friend killed a 360 bull on the muzzleloader hunt
last year.....fluke or not it was a hell of a bull....

i have heared that on the muzz hunt that it is pretty good but i am going on the rifle hunt. i have heared that down by middlefork is pretty good and by swans property line is also good but want to find out more info on the area. any body else??

There are not to many Elk in there during the rifle season, a few straglers, mostly cows. Muzz season can be better, they will start to move in there to winter down in Middlefork.

If you get snow? You might see some elk? IF you plann on hunting in the vista portion of sunridge you better be a land owener this year. They are locking it up tight. Plates for your four wheeler, new gates with locks and so on.

i heard that they are putting up bigger and better fences along the laplatta area. my frinds have property in the vista area and told use that they had a bunch of the laplatta people get caught over there. but how is the hunting over there or bu swans property line? i know swans do prety good every year and i even heared they sneek over to sunridge to do a little huntin...

Why don't you buy La Plata, it is currently for sale. 10,800 acres for $1,000.00 per acre. Just a thought.

Yeh, lets get 4-5 of us together and get a downpayment and buy LaPlatte and about the time the 3-4 payment is due let the Wives know about our hunting investment!! haha

That is good country up around LaPlatte though.

how do you know laplatta is for sale? is it posted somewhere? the hunting is alright up on laplatta no elk though. thats why i want to go over to sunridge for the elk it is close and dont have to worry about the damn monti cristo people. but seriousely how did you find about laplatta or is it one of thoughs he sad she said or my buddy told me story????
