Best of Luck to Az. Archers on Elk Hunts

Well less than a week to go before the opening. I am from Az and have fantistic memories of my younger days of over the counter archery elk tags and chasen those Sept. bugling bulls. Things have changed and now it takes me many years to get a tag. However I continue to wish my hunting comarades the best of luck and look forward to hearing about their many fun and always sucessful hunts. Good luck to all and have a safe and GREAT Hunt! Jim

Thanks, I'm going up this Wed. and will be there for atleast 10 days... Been looking forward to this week for along time. Not only do I get to hunt Archery elk, but I will be doing it with five of my best friends.....

Cant wait to get set up in unit 8 this week.A cold front will be moving in just hope this makes them talk a little more.

Will be in 10 with a guy who was once one of my clients in the same unit. Shot a heck of a bull 5 years ago and has the tag again, asked if I could go and I couldnt pass the chance to help him out. No $ involved just good buds huntin screamin elk. Besides he takes me to wisconsin every now and then to hunt deer. It's a grand life .

going up to 5bn on thur morning for ten days have a bull tag in my pocket and can't wait, went up last Sat and took the trailer and set up camp, thought I would do a little deer hunting and ended up taking a little fork buck on sat afternoon so things have gotten off to a good start. Hope every body has a great hunt and please be careful out there.
