Utah Bonus points

I was just wondering if anyone has had any problems with the DWR keeping track of their point? I just got my app in the mail today and I am positive that they are wrong with their numbers. It says I put in for elk in 2000 and have 2 points. I have put in for elk one time since this point thing went into effect and now its my word against theirs. Anybody know anyone else this kind of thing has happened to and how it turned.

I've applied online this year and last, so I saved the e-mail confirmation that they sent me after the transaction as my "just in-case".

Now wait just a minute Bobcat, I am sure it is my LE Archery Pauns point that was given away to stickflipper. I have been puttin in year after year and I am sure I am misssing one of my points. So if anyone is going to get it back it should be me. If not maybe all those people who have lost their points could put in for a special draw for the lost and improperly given away points. Maybe if you have really been short changed a number of times you can get bonus points for this special draw. And of course if you start losing these special lost and improperly given away bonus points we can have another special draw. Or maybe we just say enough is enough and get ready for another disappointing draw again.

After I posted I started wondering about the responses I would get and this is what I thought would happen. All I can say is that I am going to save all my stufffrom here on out and I will see what they say on monday.

How did you pay for it? There should be some record of that: cancelled check or credit card bill. Should be able to prove it that way.

I was just looking through the 2003 Statistics and looked at the Bonus Point Summary. Now tell me how on Earth some people can have 11pts for Buck Deer? Am I missing something? The system wasn't in place 11 years ago was it? I'm gonna be miffed if I've been missing points every year while I was trying to collect them!

I believe this is the 11th year. I have put in for seven years six of which were for deer and one for elk. I amazingly have 2 points for elk and five for deer. I started putting in with a friend when I had four points and he had three. We put in for the Henrys one year and vernon the other and now somehow he still only has three points and if they make my points right that will put me three ahead of him. Something is wrong but I have no proof.

When it 1st started I had 2 points then the next year I didn't have any, I fought with them over it for 2 years but never got those 2 points back so now I save(my results) each year and keep it in a file.
