Anyone know much about this unit for elk. I have 9 points, and want out of the elk pool, but still want a quality hunt. Any suggestions? Am willing to hunt rifle or muzzy.

Down on the LaSal there is some big Bulls, I would say the best way to hunt it will be a 2 yr wait, Next year be down that way in Sept during the rut( you can pattern where they will be) so you can have some first hand scouting done then put in the following year and Bang your set to go.

Most of the elk are on private ground on the LaSals, there is 2 different CWMU's, Redd Ranches and some other one, but the elk on public ground run right over to the private once there is any pressure.
