These are some bucks that myself and hunting partners took on some hunts.

This one my buddy took from the same area. This is the best we have taken from that area

I will try that for now. I have a ton more pics that I need to scan. I hope this works.

Why did only one pic show up? I down sized them to under 100KB. Do I have to send them one at a time?

Wow.. Those are some great bucks!! I love to see the DIY bucks.. means that you guys bust your tails out there.. Good job!

I have a lot more pictures but I don't have a scanner so I do it at my dads house. I will scan some more this week. I measured the first buck at 193 net. I am definitely not an official measurer by any means but I think I know how to do it accurately. The one eyeguard and the one cheater are all that really hurt it.
As far as a honey hole, we have hunted it for like twelve years and have pulled some nice bucks out but they were definitely hard to come by. I have seen some 36" plus bucks there and that keeps us going with the occasional nice buck taken. We hunt at 7,500 to 10,000 feet and we live at sea level so the first couple of days no matter how good of shape we are in its hard to breath. Only one year did we take more than one wall hanger out of three or four of us. It would be nice to to go 3 for 3 one of these days. I'll scan some more later.

LAST EDITED ON Jan-22-05 AT 11:21AM (MST)[p]Here is another one. I turned this buck down for three days because I was seeing better bucks and my buddy shot it on the fourth day. Every time I go over to his house I regret not pulling the trigger. Those front forks are really nice. It has triple eyeguards on both side but he's not very wide.

That's a nice collection you got going there. Don't tell me those are all WA. bucks now.:)

What ever you've been doing, I'd keep doing it if I were you!:)
Thanks for posting. Very nice indeed.

Thanks guys. The last few years have been kind of slow except for the kid killing the big one with his bow. We were driving home and he said he couldn't wait to kill a bigger one next year! With a bow that might be a tough chore but I'm sure he'll give her a go. None of these bucks are from Washington but I do have some good ones that are that I will scan. I am going to post a picture of a three point on another post that is worthy of checking out. I did not kill it but I sure wish I did.
