Got pics of a monster bull a buddy of mine shot here in Idaho..

That has to be the biggest 7X7 I have ever seen. What a trophy. It is going to be hard to top that sucker.

That is one awesome looking bull. I thought Idaho didn't produce bulls that big.

I've hunted Elk for years in Idaho, I don't think they have any bulls of this size, unless it's on a Ranch hunt. I'll have to question this bull

This is your buddy? Do you know the circumstances, I was wondering if he knew about this bull from a trail cam or scouting or if the whole thing was just dumb luck?
 
I promise guys, this bull is 100% public land, fair chase, over the counter general season bull. You'll see it in Eastmans, if you get that publication. I don't know a whole lot about him yet, but he had watch this bull for three years, and just finally was able to seal the deal on him, as him pushed his cows to water. Just an increditable bull for Idaho.

I agree, this is a MONSTER bull! That would be a good looker on the wall.

And Just think, thanks to Idaho not having any kind of a points system or what not, anybody could have bought that tag as a second elk tag and killed that bull. (provided that the story is legit)

I love to see Idaho also starting to produce great bulls like this one. Who cares what it scores. That is one of the best looking bulls I've seen this year. Congrats to the hunter on a spectacular bull. Will be waiting to read the story on eastmans.

Congrats on the best looking elk I have seen in one heck of a long time. Several states that you weren't expecting are coming up with huge bulls this year.
 
Eastmans... The bowhunting journal or hunting journal? I'd really like to hear the story on this one.

Very nice bull, but in the first pic I can only count 6 points on the left side and in the second pic it is apernt there is seven just wondering if anyone else sees this?
 
looks like a Utah Bull crossed the state line,LOL Hope he gets the record because that is a great Bull.
 
if you look at whale tail on left side it appears that base for hidden point is in both pics, looks like it is lined up with bigger point in first pic but you can still see start of it.

You guys are funny, or maybe elkcaller is jealous..somebody kills a big bull, and the ##### starts flying. Ranch bull, rat, is it legit. Its hilarious...yes this bull may have been a Utah bull at one time. He was killed in a Unit that borders Utah, but he was killed along ways from the state line

Ya topper he did..that buck was a hawg man. He has a pretty encreditable trophy room, for just public land DIY animals man. The bull grossed 402..should net around 386
