Last year there were 2 elk there, but I could only find one elk this year on my way through.

I heard one of them died!! it was bigger than this other "little guy"

Hey all, I work where this photo was taken. I saw the pic and knew right away it was "Barney". We lost our other bull last August and are having a full body mount done. It will be on display in our visitor center hopefully in a month or two. As for this guy, his sheds from last year go around 390 and he's a little bigger this year. Don't anyone get any ideas...I have my eye on him pretty much 'round the clock. We're getting two new bull calves this winter sometime too so come check 'em all out!

Wasn't the elk that died bigger than this one? does Barney do anything else than sit there staring off into space? I stood at the fence yelling and hollering just trying to get him to look my way, and nothing, he didn't even move. Guess he's used to all the people around.

If I knew where he was he would be in my freezer nice little bull
Good Luck and Great Memories
