I've got the fever to get down there and start exploring that unit inside and out. What time of year are the roads generally open for travel? I feel like a kid at Christmas waiting to o get down and spend a lot of time there in the coming months. May even get silly and but a trailer to drag minfsmilia tambien.

Some areas are accessible now but far from everything. Mid-May, give or take a week is a general average 90% access, based on my experience. The fisherman are usually out on it over Memorial Day. Antler hunters will be hiking in this Saturday. ATV's push in asap.

The Hogan's Pass road, Highway 72, separates the Fish Lake from the Thousand Lake, and the elevation of Hogan's, at the pass, is around 8,800 ft. and the two track roads, on the west side, start off from the Highway (72). The Highway is kept open year round.

All the best.
