I just got word that a 160" coues buck from Mexico has recently been taken. There supposedly is a pic somewhere on the web of this buck. Has anyone else heard of or come across this photo???

I hope it is an honest to god 160" typical. That'll stir things up.

Please find us a picture !!!!

WOW! Go to coueswhitetale dot com under rifle hunting/160" coues from Mexico. Someone posted the picture. It's totally non-typical. I'd like to see some more angles of the buck. Congratulations to the hunter.

Here is the picture I received in an e-mail...

Yeah he's a freeak! But the picture doesn't give that buck due justice . Its hard to stretch the tape to 160 , must be gross score...

I have several email pics of the buck. He looks pretty impressive in some photos. NMHUNT, not trying to be a tool but I'm guessing net score wasn't on his mind when he saw that buck.

Great Buck hope we can find one like that in Jan. Congrats to the hunter!!CM

I have seen all the angles also and I don't see 160 gross even, although big. more in the 140 class to me.

I know the hunter that killed this buck. The first time it was measured it there was a erorr and thats were the 167" came from. It is a 150 class buck tho and I will have the score when he has it measured in 60 days

There has been some huge deer shot this year and its not even time for the monsters to be out and about chasibg does. I know of a couple other bucks that have been shot this year over 120+. I cant wait to see what is shot in the next 4-6 weeks

>I have seen all the angles
>also and I don't see
>160 gross even, although big.
>more in the 140 class
>to me.

Bubbas, You're right man, I stared at that thing for a long time and scored it as best I could do and came up with 135" gross. Mass is deceiving though but still I can't even see 150". Not that it really matters cause that is one of the baddest ass set of coues antlers I've ever seen!!! Way to go Todd!!!

Wow.....I didn't realize there were so many internet scoring experts over here in the Coues forum as well. I thought that was only for the Mule Deer and Elk experts.

That deer is a hawg!!

I can't really tell from the photos, but it almost looks like a three antlered deer. Are those double beams on the bucks right side? And if so, are they connected at the base or seperate pedicles? Any way you look at it, and no matter what the score, that is what I call a MONSTER COUES. Congrats to the hunter.

Has it been officially measured yet? What's the official score?
